Recap: Our Visit to the PIX Australia Poultry & Livestock Expo (May 12–14, 2026)

Our team was on the ground in Melbourne May 12–14, 2026, attending the PIX Australia Expo — one of the biggest poultry and livestock farming events in Australia. Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the show brought together farmers, integrators, vets, and equipment suppliers from across the country, all focused on smarter, healthier, and more profitable farming.

For us, this wasn’t just another trade show. It was a great chance to meet Australian producers face‑to‑face, listen to their real‑world farming challenges, and share our full range of climate control and livestock housing solutions tailored to Australia’s unique weather. At booth #199, we showcased much more than just ventilation: our complete line of EC motor tunnel fans, precision climate controllers, evaporative cooling pads, air deflectors, environment sensors, and backup power systems — all designed to handle Australia’s hot, humid summers, dry windy days, and big day‑night temperature swings, especially here in Victoria.

One topic came up over and over with Aussie farmers: year‑round barn environment control. Summer is tough — high humidity along the coast makes evaporative cooling less effective, so chickens struggle with heat stress even at 28°C. Low wind speed at bird level leads to panting, reduced feed intake, and slow growth. But it’s not just summer: autumn and winter bring cold snaps, drafts, and temperature fluctuations that trigger cold stress, respiratory issues, and uneven flock performance. Many farms also deal with poor airflow distribution, hot or cold spots, and high energy bills from outdated equipment.

We walked dozens of producers through how our integrated solutions solve these problems from every angle. Our variable‑speed EC fans maintain consistent, stable wind speed at bird level without sudden drafts or dead zones. Our smart climate controllers automatically adjust fan speed, cooling pad operation, and air inlet openings based on real‑time temperature, humidity, and negative pressure — balancing cooling in summer and minimizing drafts in cooler months. We also demonstrated our high‑efficiency evaporative cooling pads for reliable cooling in dry and humid conditions, insulated air deflectors to prevent direct cold air blasts, and backup power systems to keep critical equipment running during outages. Farmers were especially interested in how these upgrades can lower energy use, reduce bird stress, and improve feed conversion — key goals for Australian farms.

It was fantastic to see how these practical solutions resonated with local producers. Many commented that most equipment on the market only focuses on summer cooling, while our systems are built for Australia’s full seasonal cycle — hot summers, cool windy autumns, and cold winter nights. We also enjoyed connecting with fellow suppliers, industry partners, and technical experts, discussing the latest in animal welfare, energy efficiency, and farm automation — topics that matter deeply to Australia’s modern livestock industry.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, shared your farm stories, and gave us valuable feedback. We’re already following up with the farmers we met, and we’re excited to keep supporting Australian poultry and livestock operations with reliable, climate‑smart solutions.
